Earlier
in the month of February this year, it was disclosed that
Tilda Swinton, the 52-year old Academy Award winning actress was tapped by Karl
Lagerfeld as the face of Chanel's pre-fall Paris-Edimbourg collection, which
was showcased at Linlithgow Palace last December.
So,
here we have the images of the Scottish Actress, Tilda Swinton , swathed in
luxurious tartan and ornate embellishments, shot by none other than
Karl himself, against a backdrop of medieval tapestries.
“Tilda perfectly embodies the Paris-Edimbourg
collection," Lagerfeld said in a statement. "She is of course
Scottish, but more than that she is a modern woman, a timeless icon of
elegance."
