‘Shift’ by Nimish Shah-Autumn/Winter 2013-14- Lakme Fashion Week

A combination of vintage and urban, the Autumn Winter 2013-14 collection by Nimish Shah for his label ‘Shift’ has an understated sophistication and timeless essence to it.

With a sartorial principle of comfort, versatility and impeccable construction, the collection offered array of pieces ranging from pantsuit, midis, floral sheath, dress suit, wrap skirt, peasant dresses, gilet, knit-wears, skirt with bow front and jackets to layered shirt. Velvet, textured fabrics, bold floral prints, sequinned pieces, interesting ruffles and two-tone hues played with the vintage colour story of burgundy, brown, grey and charcoal.

The collection has all the elements to easily translate from the fashion week runway into real life daily runway of a girl whose inner simplicity is the mystery behind her effortless elegance.
