Beyonce Knowles was an absolute stunner at the 2014
MET GALA Red Carpet, held on May 5th in New York. The singer wore a daring
low cut Givenchy couture piece with bead details. I love the mysterious feel of
the look, especially the veil and seductive burgundy lipstick.
However,
I am not too sure if the dress goes with this year’s theme/dress code at the
MET GALA. MET 2014 is a tribute to the work of Charles James, an
Anglo-American designer, known for ‘structured’ and ‘sculptural’ aesthetics
combined with mathematical precision. Well, while looking at the sheer skirt
does not give me the structured-structural vibe. What say folks?
