For the first time, in its 19 year history, the Lingerie label Victoria’s
Secret brought its much anticipated annual extravagant show from New York to
London. The 2014 Runway show was held at Earl's Court Exhibition Center in
London on 2nd December and featured 47 beautiful models, known as angels,
including – Adriana Lima, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls, Doutzen Kroes, Constance
Jablonski and Candice Swanepoel, to name just a few.
Before that, on Monday, all the 47 angels traveled to London in a Victoria’s
Secret private Boeing 767.Isn’t that exclusive in itself?
Breaking all the records of extravagance, this year’s show saw two fantasy
bras showcased, each valued at around $2 million and encrusted with 16,000 gems.
Angels Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio were the privileged ones to wear
the luxury pieces, also known as Dream Angels Fantasy Bra.
The runway collection was divided into six themes: Gilded Angels, Exotic Traveler, Dream Girl, University of Pink, Fairy Tale and the Angel Ball.
There were 39 pairs of wings; including a pair of 18Karat gold wings,
worn by super model Karlie Kloss’s and designed by Haute Couture designer Serkan.
The extravagant runway show cost $20 million.
